Successful candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance. Therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is therefore required)
  • A wide technical comfort zone
  • Work collaboratively in agile, mixed team environment with other FPGA engineers, software developers, data scientists and geospatial experts to port algorithms from CPU to FPGA with tight memory constraints and complex mission requirements
  • Support testing, evaluation, installation and configuration of algorithms on FPGAs
  • Support production maintenance activities that include the development of automated scripts and scheduled tasks, application/system monitoring, software/security updates and patching, archiving/disposition of system logs and/or data records
  • Support white paper development, strategic captures, and proposals in your areas of expertise and experience
  • Envision and collaborate on open source or proprietary proof of concept pilots or projects
  • Highly skilled programmer in relevant languages, such as VHDL  and nice to have is C/C++ 
  • Familiarity with  Signal Processing and RF modulation fundmentals 
  • Ability to analyze existing code and rewrite and optimize for FPGA board, such as the Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
